Incu-bytes

Who?

At GenAI Incubator, we call our startups Incu-bytes. These are small teams with big ideas, ready to grow.

Incu-bytes are early-stage startups or founding teams that want to build something meaningful with AI. But not just any kind of AI. We are focused on AI for Good.

That means we are looking for people using artificial intelligence to solve real human problems. Your project could be in healthcare, education, climate, accessibility, ethics, or anywhere technology can improve life.

If your project helps someone live more fully, learn more easily, stay safer, or be heard more clearly, you speak our language.

What’s Next?

Before you jump in, take a moment to reflect on your project. Ask yourself two questions:

Is this truly AI for Good?

Do I have the passion to see it through to launch?

If your answer to both is a full-throttle, no-doubt-about-it Yes, then you’re ready for the next part.

Read the Four Phases and Eleven Steps, our roadmap from onboarding to Demo Day. We design it to challenge, support, and prepare you for what comes next.

Still with us?

Then go ahead and hit the Application Form. Your journey starts here.

Incu-bytes Four Phases

Phase 1 - Selection Process

Phase 1 is where we get to know you. We review your submission, schedule a conversation, and evaluate whether your project aligns with our mission of AI for Good.

We seek clarity of purpose, technical feasibility, and the spark that says:

“Yes, this founder is serious.”

Phase 2 - Offer & Acceptance

If your project is selected, you’ll receive an invitation to join the cohort. Phase 2 includes a detailed offer outlining the resources, mentorship, and support available to you, along with equity terms if applicable.

You’ll have time to review, ask questions, and decide if the fit feels right.

No pressure. Just clarity.

Phase 3 - Build with Purpose.

Once you’re in, the real work begins in Phase 3. Over the next three months, you’ll build fast and learn faster.

With guidance from technical advisors, domain experts, and business mentors, you’ll shape your idea into a working product or service.

Think of it as three months of focused momentum—without the noise.

Phase 4 - Demo Day

Phase 4 is your moment.

You’ll present your progress to a curated audience of funders, partners, and potential collaborators.

It is about raising money and finding people who believe in your mission and want to see your success.

Powered by success.

1st Step: Sourcing Incu-bytes

Part of Phase 1: Selection Process.

The GenAI Incubator community, from Incu-founders and Incu-members to partners and like-minded friends, encourages identifying and recommending promising startups for consideration.

We are always looking for early-stage teams with bold ideas and a clear mission aligned with AI for Good.

Start applying using the Incu-bytes Application Form

Once you (a startup, aka Incu-bytes) apply, you will receive a welcome email with the next steps. The email includes instructions on scheduling an initial meeting with your Incu-champion, who will guide you through the selection process.

2nd Step: Pre-Qualification

Part of Phase 1: Selection Process.

After you submit your application and schedule a call with your Incu-Champion, they will ask key questions to determine whether your project aligns with our core mission of AI for Good—and whether you bring the passion to see it through.

This step is a chance for us to learn more about your idea and for you to ask any questions you may have. All interviews are conducted via Google Meet. AI will take notes, generate a summary, and share the recording afterward.

Please keep in mind that not all applicants will advance from this stage. If your team is not selected, it does not diminish the value of your idea or your potential. It simply means that, at this time, your project may not align with the focus of the current cohort.

We encourage you to keep refining your vision and consider reapplying in a future round. Good ideas often need time to grow. We would love to see how yours evolves.

3rd Step: Presentation to Incu-Founder

Part of Phase 1: Selection Process.

In this step, the Incu-champion presents selected Incu-bytes to the founding and funding team for further review and discussion. This step is a key milestone in our preselection process. It allows us to evaluate the innovation behind each idea and how well it aligns with our mission of using AI for Good.

This step is essential because it brings structure and scalability to our evaluation process. As we receive more high-quality applicants, a consistent framework ensures that each team is reviewed thoughtfully and fairly. It also gives our investing and founding team a clear way to assess alignment with our values, long-term goals, and potential for real-world impact.

The Incu-founders have a fixed weekly schedule meeting for the Incu-champions to present the selected Incu-bytes.

Please keep in mind that being presented at this stage does not guarantee acceptance into the program. It is, however, an important step in moving your project closer to becoming part of the GenAI Incubator cohort.

4th Step: Deliberation & Selection

Part of Phase 1: Selection Process.

In this step, the Incu-founders enter a focused review process to collectively select the Incu-bytes who will be invited to join the upcoming cohort. A unanimous vote is required for each selection, and the team may contact Incu-bytes for additional conversations as needed.

This step can take up to four weeks. During that time, each Incu-founder will carefully review the Incu-bytes’ team, idea, and market potential before making a final decision. As part of our legal and ethical responsibility, we are committed to evaluating every applicant fairly and without bias. Selection must be based on merit—not favoritism, personal interest, or unfair influence.

Please note that not all Incu-bytes will be invited to join. We truly appreciate the effort, clarity, and creativity behind every submission. The potential you have shown does not go unnoticed. However, we have a limited number of spots available for each cohort.

If your team is not selected at this time, we encourage you to keep developing your idea and consider reapplying in a future cohort.

Sometimes, the best ideas need more time to grow. We would love to see how yours evolves.

5th Step: Onboarding Package Creation

Part of Phase 2: Offers & Acceptance.

Once the Incu-founders recommended the Incu-bytes, the Incu-handler prepares a customized onboarding package tailored to each team’s needs. This step serves as a welcome kit and a starting point for your journey inside the GenAI Incubator.

Each onboarding package includes essential information to help teams integrate quickly and confidently into the program. You will receive key dates, team expectations, access to internal tools, and direct links to mentorship, funding resources, and technical support. The package also outlines the first steps of the development phase and helps set the stage for a smooth and focused launch.

We believe every great idea deserves a strong foundation. This onboarding process ensures that your team has everything it needs to hit the ground running during the three-month development phase.

6th Step: Negotiation of Terms

Part of Phase 2: Offers & Acceptance.

In this step, our Incu-negotiators work closely with each Incu-bytes team to finalize the legal and business terms of the partnership. Their role is to ensure that every agreement is fair, transparent, and built on mutual trust. This is where we lay the foundation for a strong working relationship.

The agreement's core structure is simple. In exchange for equity shares in Incu-bytes’ company, the GenAI Incubator provides direct financial investment, technical mentorship, strategic business guidance, and access to a trusted network of industry experts and investors.

This support is designed to help each Incu-bytes grow confidently. Our goal is to move you from early-stage development to market readiness with the resources, structure, and relationships that make long-term success possible.

As a for-profit incubator, our success depends entirely on yours. When your company thrives, so does the GenAI Incubator. That is why we are fully invested in helping you build something meaningful, sustainable, and ready for the real world.

It is a win-win proposition.

7th Step: Legal Agreement

Part of Phase 2: Offers & Acceptance.

Once terms have been successfully negotiated, the Incu-handler will send the legal agreements to the Incu-bytes team for review and signature. This is a pivotal step. Signing the agreement marks the official start of your journey with the GenAI Incubator.

We’re excited to welcome you to a growing community of builders, dreamers, and doers who are using AI to create meaningful change: AI for Good.

Congratulations! You are now accepted to the GenAI Incubator’s next cohort.

8th Step: Accelerate Development

Part of Phase 3: Build with Purpose

Over the course of three months, your team will enter full development. During this phase, your Incu-mentor will provide dedicated support, from AI technical guidance and design feedback to legal insights and fairness considerations. The goal is to help your team move faster and build with confidence by leveraging AI tools and frameworks.

It is essential to clarify that the Incu-mentor is not part of your development team. Their role is to advise, guide, and help you stay on track. The work itself belongs to you.

The GenAI Incubator is not a development house. We are here to support your growth, not to build your product for you.

All Incu-bytes in the cohort begin and complete this development phase on the same timeline. This shared schedule keeps the program focused and aligned as we move toward Demo Day.

9th Step: Investor Pre-engagement

Part of Phase 3: Build with Purpose

As your product takes shape, it is time to prepare for investor conversations. In this step, your Incu-coach will work closely with your team to help you get ready.

This step involves coaching on clearly presenting your vision, structuring a compelling pitch deck, and communicating effectively with potential investors. It is essential that you learn how to determine the appropriate funding amount based on your stage, goals, and business model.

Asking for the right investment at the right time can make all the difference in securing support and shaping your company’s next steps.

This step is not only about impressing funders. It is about building the confidence and clarity to have meaningful conversations with people who may help you take your idea to the next level, whether they are investors, partners, or future collaborators.

10th Step: Demo Day

Part of Phase 4: Demo Day

After months of development, coaching, and refinement, it all leads to this moment. Demo Day is where each Incu-bytes enters the spotlight to share their vision, showcase their product, and connect with potential investors and partners.

The event is hosted by the Incu-DJ, who sets the tone and ensures that the energy stays high and the presentations flow smoothly. Each Incu-bytes team will have 20 minutes to make their case, tell their story, explain their solution, and show why their idea is ready for the real world.

The Demo Day is more than just a pitch. It is your opportunity to be seen, heard, and backed.

It is GO time!

11th Step: Post-Demo - Last Step:

Part of Phase 4: Demo Day

Demo Day may be over, but the journey continues. After the presentations, your Incu-coach will follow up with investors and partners to keep the conversation going and help open doors for funding and collaboration. This step is about turning momentum into opportunity.

The relationships built here can shape the next stage of your company’s growth.

You have done the work. You have made your voice heard. Congratulations! You have graduated from our GenAI Incubator.

May the force be with you… Oh, young Incu-bytes.

Are you lost?

Are you ready to thrive in AI for Good?
